B&W of cherry blossoms is definitely hard to pull off, but it rarely stops me from trying. ☺️ The experience of being there was amazing and as we get new blossoms each year here in Portland the memories are kept fresh. Our plan for that trip was to avoid the peak of the season to avoid the crowds we’d heard about. We hit peak in both Tokyo and Kyoto and weren’t bothered by the crowds. Plan all you want, but you just have to go. Thanks for your observations 🙏

Nice triptych. Somehow the b&w doesn’t do justice to the Meguro spring colours. Must have been quite impressive to witness springtime there.
