Grandpa took a photography class in 1957. One of the assignments was night photographs downtown Portland around Christmas time. This week I’ll be posting scans of his slides.

These photographs were taken by my grandfather, Don Campbell, in 1955. The gates of The Dalles Dam were closed on March 10, 1957 and flooded the falls.
