For at least the next week, these posts will be from a roll of Kodak 400TX Tri-X black and white that I took with a Minolta SRT 201 with a 135mm lens. The camera and lens were a recent gift, and had been in storage for almost 20 years. I had the film processed, and scanned the negatives myself on my Epson 4490 Photo scanner. It was a very bright day, so the 400 ASA film would not have been my first choice, but it was handy, and I love the results. I scanned the negatives at 4800 dpi, and have resized to 180 dpi to post here, but otherwise made no other edits.
Hi, David, an iconic camera, and Epson scanners are equally excellent. I love the strong light/shadow intensity in your picture, it fits the throwback feel. Just for the fun of it, I would love to play a little with the depth, possibly lighting the background layer a tiny bit. But that might make it too blend … Great work!
