Just had to mention: I have been watching old b&w movies to enhance my lighting skills and powers of observation. I got rid of network TV to save $. I have HBO Max only. I binged watched Yasujirō Ozu films. Ivan the terrible I & II has fabulous lighting enhancing the symbolism.

That is what the crop would do for you. Of course editing in Lr would do the trick of catching every nuance.
