  1. This brings back some old and fond memories, David. When we moved to Oregon when I was in the seventh grade, we lived on the Bluff in Oregon City overlooking the River. A few years later, I had an Oregon Journal route in downtown OC and along the Promenade with the southern end overlooking Publishers and Crown Zellerbach mills where many of my high school classmates worked during the summer.

    I’m glad to see there are plans to preserve and enhance this historic area and thanks for the post.
