Sanslartigue 2: The silent camera continued
These were taken in 1964, with the Brownie camera that I mentioned in the About page. That would make me 7 years old at the time. These are scans of the original prints. In the first photo, the tall building is the Sir Francis Drake Hotel. The second photo is of the Mark Hopkins Hotel. The last photo, quite blurry for some reason, is Fisherman’s Wharf.
For something a little different, I wanted to share some photos I dug out of the past, a 1968 trip by my family with my grandparents, into the Canadian Rockies, between Banff and Jasper, in Alberta. During the next 7 days, the black and white photos will be by my 11 year old self, with the Brownie mentioned on the About page. The color photos are by my Grandfather, Don Campbell, with the Argus camera, of which I’ve posted some of his photos in the past, especially on the original Sanslartigue blog.
