When ever I see a photograph like this it makes me wonder how the residents deal with the normal things in everyday life, such as shopping for food and bringing home bags of groceries, buying a piece of furniture or throwing out a piece of furniture, and how many things I take for granted living in my ranch style house with a driveway and garage and creek five houses away to walk along for exercise and where do kids play and how do elderly deal with the steps. When I went to art school and drove a cab nights in Cambridge MA I thought cabs were for people with some extra money but my regular fares were mostly low income people needing a ride back (not to, they walked there) from the grocery store or anytime they bought something too heavy to carry home. David, often when I look at your photographs I am wondering how these people live and how their everyday life might be different from mine.
