I see a group of homeless people with sleeping bags every time I go into the city but cant get myself to take their photo. I almost took one of tulips with them in the background but a little voice said no. Next time maybe I’ll bring them breakfast.
Doorways of unoccupied buildings have been getting chain link fencing blocking them off to keep people from sleeping there. Empty lots are now fenced off to keep out camps. We’re gradually getting more shelters but not enough. Your questions are good. Thanks for commenting, and I hope you continue to. I’m not sure what my intentions are for this series.
I agree with cbcrenshaw . I thought twice about “liking” it. We need to see images such as this. It creates empathy and awareness of the plight of so many, not just those in developed countries, who are doing it tough.
Intention is all. We do it because it has to be recorded. Hopefully we are not taking advantage but are flagging social injustice. Keep up the good work with love in your heart.
This photo is difficult to “like,” but so important.
